Write and Deliver Highly Effective
Presentations
Who does your staff make presentations to?
Co-workers at department or corporate
meetings? Key staff of other organizations?
Community groups? Audiences of radio or TV?
Credibility, cooperation, respect, and
business relationships can be lost by
someone who means well but has never been
given the training to do the job
effectively.
I will show your staff how to write and
deliver highly effective presentations that
will earn respect for them and your
organization, presentations that will
achieve the desired response and results.
Their new skills will make crafting
presentations easier (saving time and
money), more focused (saving precious time
in meetings by presenting the right
information), and more effective
(contributing to their and the
organization’s goals).
Change Your Stories, Change Your Life
We create our daily experiences – good and
not so good – because of the stories we've
been told that we now tell ourselves and
others. Here’s how that works:
-
Our
stories cause us to say and think
what we say and think…
-
What
we say and think, motivates us to do
what we do…
-
What
we do, determines what we experience…
-
What
we experience, reinforce our
stories...
The cycle
continues… until we begin to think, say and
do something different. An organization’s
staff can be its biggest asset or its
biggest liability. The stories people tell
themselves and others about themselves,
their job, their coworkers, their boss,
their organization and its behavior… affect
their attitude, relationships, and job
performance (and often the attitudes,
relationships and job performances of
others).
Once they realize the power of their
stories, they can then consciously choose to
tell stories that create experiences that
are what they want instead of what they
don't want.
10 Ways You Can
Eliminate Stress in Your Life
Is life getting a
little too fast for you? Are your to-do
lists impossibly long? Do you believe that
more tools and better multi-tasking skills
will reduce the stress in your life? You’ve
been mislead. All those will do is speed
life up a little more. The good news is that
you don’t have to give up your tools or stop
multi-tasking to eliminate stress, you just
need to control them instead of letting them
control you. You’ll learn 10 ways to
eliminate stress, be happier and still get a
lot done.
How to Say No Appropriately
This training workshop helps management and
non-management employees understand why they
have trouble saying no when they should, how
not being able to say no causes missed
deadlines, anger, conflict and chaos in the
workplace and how learning to say no
appropriately eases the burden of leadership
and empowers non-leaders; it contributes to
teamwork, efficiency and good morale.
How You Can Learn
to Trust Yourself
Too many of us are following somebody else's
map, and the result is that we're trying to
get where they want to go. In order
to get where we want to go, we need
to create our own map by learning to trust
ourselves. See how other peoples' messages
shape your thinking and behavior, how they
pull you away from your own guidance system,
then learn how to trust yourself.
How to Create
Harmony at Work You know every fingerprint
is different, now scientists say every brain
is different, too. That means that what you
think you said may not be what the other
person heard; the goal you all agree on may
not actually be the same to everyone; looks,
gestures, casual comments and more can
easily be misinterpreted -- all of this can
needlessly lead to hurt feelings and
hostilities, missed deadlines and
misunderstandings. This workshop helps
everyone agree to accept responsibility for
their own experiences, it offers the whole
group a unique way to grow, personally and
as a team.
**These workshops can be taught
privately, or in groups of any size**
